Innovation Meets Safety on Complex Construction Sites
The Pod Truck: Smart, Sustainable, and Safety-Focused
Our Traffic Management Pod Truck is a fully equipped mobile unit designed for versatility, speed, and protection. Engineered to streamline setup and pack-down for complex traffic management layouts, it allows our crews to work smarter and safer.
Key features include:
- Integrated lighting and arrow boards for clear, real-time communication with motorists.
- Red “no-go zone” lights that define exclusion areas, protecting workers from oncoming traffic.
- Built-in fall restraint systems, allowing safe deployment of cones and bollards while on the move.
- Solar-powered systems, reducing fuel consumption and supporting our sustainability goals.
- Modular storage for cones, signs, and equipment, ensuring quick deployment and recovery.
Compact yet durable, the Pod Truck enables efficient, eco-conscious operations and sets a new benchmark in safe traffic management practices.
TMAs: Protecting Workers and Motorists on Every Project
Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMAs) play a crucial role in our high-speed and high-risk traffic management environments. Acting as mobile safety barriers, TMAs protect workers, motorists, and equipment by absorbing the impact of collisions and preventing vehicles from entering live work zones.
Trafman Solutions operates two Silke TMAs, both rated to MASH 2016: TL3 guidelines, offering protection at impact speeds up to 100 km/h. Each TMA is equipped with C Class Arrowboards and C Class VMS (Variable Message Sign) boards, allowing operators to display real-time safety messages and traffic guidance.
Our TMAs serve three key safety objectives:
- Worker Safety: Shield road workers from errant vehicles in high-risk zones.
- Collision Mitigation: Absorb and dissipate impact energy to reduce crash severity.
- Traffic Management: Provide clear visual warnings and direct motorists safely around work areas.
Operated by fully trained professionals and maintained to the highest standards, our TMAs form a critical part of Trafman’s commitment to worksite safety and traffic management excellence.
Flexibility and Capability Across Every Project
When to Use a TMA
TMAs are essential for maintaining protection during high-risk or high-speed works. They’re typically deployed when:
- Working on or near live traffic lanes.
- Setting up or removing traffic management setups.
- Performing mobile works such as line marking, inspections, or pothole repairs.
- Any time workers are exposed to moving traffic without fixed barriers.
A Safer Future for Traffic Management
At Trafman Solutions, we’re continually investing in innovation that protects people. From advanced Pod Trucks to our MASH-rated TMAs, our technology and trained operators ensure every worksite is managed with precision, safety, and care.
As Australia’s construction environments evolve, our goal remains the same: to deliver safe, efficient, and dependable traffic management solutions that keep projects moving and people protected.
